SpatialDraw
We turned a phone into a paintbrush that draws light through the air.
A mobile-first WebAR drawing tool. Hold your finger on the screen and walk through the room, and a luminous neon ribbon trails behind your phone in 3D space, anchored to the world around you. Zero install, shared by a link.
Drawing in space used to mean a five-hundred-pound headset and a download. SpatialDraw asks a sharper question. Can we deliver that same thrill on a device six billion people already own, through a URL?
The deepest rule of the project was to eliminate friction between intention and creation through an invisible interface. Cold tap to first glowing stroke is three taps and zero text.
Strokes self-illuminate through a custom additive shader, so they read as light, not paint. Each stroke walks the palette automatically, so the artwork looks composed without the user ever choosing a colour.
